Bio
Jason Allen DeWater is a well-rounded leader in business, technology, and music. He holds a Master's degree in Horn Performance from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor's degree in Horn Performance from Texas Christian University.
As a successful entrepreneur, Jason has made a name for himself in the tech industry as the CEO of iFixAmerica, and the founder of iFixOmaha, Rabbit Hole Systems, and Co-Founder of Certified Cell. In 2023, partnered with Metropolitan Community College to launch the Mobile Device Repair Academy, the first ever postsecondary education mobile device repair certification program at the school's Fort Omaha Campus. This partnership is a testament to his dedication to building a skilled workforce and providing opportunities for education and career development in the field of mobile device repair.
His business acumen has earned him numerous accolades and awards, including being voted 1st place in Best of Omaha for Smartphone Repair from 2017-2022, winning the Best Phone Repair for Readers Choice award 2021-2022, and being named Small Business of the Month in June 2017 by the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce.
Jason is also recognized as a tech leader in the Midwest, having been interviewed for pieces in publications including The Economist, The Guardian, WIRED Magazine, and the Omaha World-Herald. He has also been recognized for his contributions to the technology industry, with iFixOmaha being a member of CTIA.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jason is active in his community, having been named 40 under 40 in Omaha in 2017, and being named as the Nebraska Representative in Google's 2017 Economic Impact Report.
As a musician, Jason has held the position of Principal Horn in the Omaha Symphony Orchestra from 2007-2015, and has also served as Artistic Director for the Omaha Consort from 2011-2014. He has also performed as a Guest Principal Horn with the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, Minnesota Opera, and Houston Grand Opera.
Being a musician has taught Jason the importance of discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively towards a common goal. These skills have been invaluable in his business career, where his leadership experience in orchestras has further honed his ability to lead and manage diverse teams.
