iFixOmaha Celebrated in 2017 Google Economic Impact Report

Harnessing Google Tools for Business Success and Expansion

iFixOmaha has been spotlighted in the 2017 Google Economic Impact Report as a leading representative for Nebraska, demonstrating the substantial role that Google tools have played in its business operations and growth.

Founded by Jason DeWater, who started by fixing a broken iPhone speaker, iFixOmaha began as a basement operation in 2012 and quickly evolved into a formidable business with multiple locations across Omaha. Specializing in the repair of smartphones, tablets, and laptops, iFixOmaha has expanded its services to include onsite and concierge services, catering to a growing clientele in need of quick and reliable tech solutions.

From the outset, Jason utilized Google's powerful tools to scale his business. Google AdWords became a pivotal asset, driving half of the company's business and enabling sales increases of 40 percent annually. "Our biggest advertising bang for the buck is AdWords. It outperforms any advertising you can imagine, and we’ve tried them all,” Jason remarks. The proportional growth in sales with increased ad spend speaks volumes about the efficacy of Google AdWords as a limitless tool for business marketing.

Moreover, Google Analytics helps Jason understand customer behaviors and preferences, allowing iFixOmaha to tailor services effectively. The use of Google Sheets and Google Calendar streamlines internal operations, from managing inventory to scheduling work shifts across all locations. Google My Business enhances iFixOmaha’s online visibility, featuring customer reviews and virtual tours of the stores, further establishing trust and accessibility among potential customers.

As the demand for wireless devices and integrated home systems grows in Nebraska, iFixOmaha plans to double its number of stores and staff to meet these needs. "The secret sauce behind how we were able to outgrow our local and even national competitors is we embraced the power of Google, right out of the gate," Jason explains.

Thanks to iFixOmaha's strategic use of Google tools, Nebraskans can rely on quick, efficient service for their tech needs, knowing that "We can fix anything here," as Jason proudly states.
